Nikita Belyak

Doctoral Candidate

Aalto University

Nikita is PhD candidate with a background in applied mathematics and computer science. His research interests concern the development of efficient modelling and solution methods for optimization problems under uncertainty. The primary focus is on the problems aimed at increase of the renewable energy sources share in the energy systems.

He is currently engaged in the investigation and implementation of efficient strategies to combine branching and relaxation techniques for solving large-scale non-convex problems.
