Flávio Araújo Lim-Apo is a visiting researcher from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where he is doing a PhD in the Operations Research area.

His PhD research focuses on developing new ways to train and evaluate a decision tree. The goal is to use optimization with machine learning to obtain better results.
